SPORTS CARNIVAL
The monster sports carnival in the old Post Office, Dowling street, will be officially opened by the Mayor (Mr A. H Allen) at 8 o’clock tonight. Music will he provided by the Kaikorai Brass Band. The hall, with its gay decorations, provides an attractive background for the various stalls. Games and amusements have been provided for all, and hockey, football and basketball players will have an opportunity of demonstrating their skill.
