The engagement is announced between Henry, eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. Pickup, Highsted road, Christchurch, and Nada May Evelyn, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs I. C. Phillips, of Rattrav street, Dunedin.
The engagement is announced between John, elder son of Mr and Mrs T. Davidson, Invercargill, and Gladys Enid, younger daughter of the late Mr A. B. Edmonds and Mrs Edmonds, of Dunedin (formerly of Invercargill).
