NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS OTAGO OWNER’S SUCCESSES (Per United Press Association) WANGANUI, June 3. Two New Zealand championships were decided at the North Island Sheep Dog Trials at Paparangi today. The weather conditions were again ideal. The following were the results:— New Zealand Champion Long Head.—Frazer Smith’s (Awakino) Highland King, 90 points, 1; Donald McLean’s (Takapau) Scott, 89, 2; W. J. McGaveston’s (Waipukurau) Zoe, 88J, 3. New Zealand Championship Short Head and Yard.—W. J. McGaveston’s (Waipukurau) Zoe, 113, 1; M. A. Matheson’s (Middlemarch) Scott, 110, 2; W. Thoms (Hastings) Kempt, 109 L 3. . oi North Island Championship Short Head and Yard.—E. G. Rutherford’s (Parnassus) Star, 58| points, 1; M. A Matheson’s (Middlemarch) Scott, 58, 2; J. McL. Harvey’s (Hawke’s Bay) Don, 57L 3.
