Salary, printing, advertising, Water service renewals and repairs ; Kerbing, tar-sealing, general repairs, and maintenance £720 140 65 130 135 250 £720 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Outram Town Biaard pursuant to the powers vested in it by “The Town Boards Act 1908 ” “ The Municipal Corporations Act 1933 ” and all other powers enabling it in that behalf will, at a Meeting of the Board, to be held at the Board Office Outram on WEDNESDAY the SIXTH DAY OF JULY 1938 at 7.30 p.m. make and levy the following rates and charges _ for the period commencing on the First Day of April 1938 and ending on the Thirtyfirst Day of March 1939: (a) A General Rate, under Section 77 of “The Municipal Corporations Act 1933 ” of id (one halfpenny) in the pound (£) upon the capital value of the rateable property as appearing on the valuation roll for the time being in force in the Outram Town District. (b) A Lighting Rate under Section 89 of “The Municipal Corporations Act 1933” of 3d (three pence) in the pound (£) upon the annual value of the rateable property as appearing in the valuation roll for the time being in force in the Outram Town District. (c) Water Rates under Section 82 of “The Municipal Corporations Act 1933” as follows;—Ordinary supply —Upon all land and buildings to which water'is supplied the annual value of which on the valuation roll does not exceed £l2 10s the sum of 10s; exceeds £l2 10s a rate of 4 per cent, on such value. Extraordinary supply—Market gardeners 20s per annum for the first outside tap and 10s per annum for each succeeding tap, hose taps and outside house taps 10s per annum, stock taps 20s per annum. The above rates are payable in One Sum in each case on July 31, 1938 at the Office of the Outram Town Board.
