TOP OF A THOUSAND
After a serious operation Kenneth Wilson, an English schoolboy of 19, was lying in hospital when a nurse whispered that he had come out top of over 1000 candidates in an All-Eng-land examination for officers of Customs and excise. Kenneth, who is captain of Northgate School, at Ipswich, secured 982 marks out of a possible 1200, beating the second boy by 24.
