Reid, a middle-aged man. who had been employed as train examiner at Springfield for 14 years, was killed last night when he was struck by a rake of trucks which were being shunted at Springfield station. Reid, who was a married man with a family of four children, had been examining a train when he was struck by a rake of trucks being shunted nearby from another train.
