Mander (Liberal) asked the Prime Minister (Mr Chamberlain) whether he would consider the publication of a White Paper giving the text of the speech made by the New Zealand High W. J. Jordan) in League discussions on Spain, as the speech embodied the fact that the Imperial viewpoint was different from the British Government’s. The Under-secretary for Foreign Affairs (Mr R. A. Butler) replied that the text of the speech would appear in due course in the League of Nations Journal, in which members could study it.
