MARRIAGE GUIDANCE

LONDON ORGANISATION VICAR’S ADVICE TO WOMEN LONDON, May 23. The Rev. George Needham, of Sheffield, a well-known “ psycho-analyst-vicar,” addressing a congregation of women, said: “ Never marry a man who is under the domination of his mother. Do not marry a man you can easily dominate. It will not work for a lifetime. You will despise him. Do not look for a superman who is both weak and strong, because there is not one.” A “ Council for Marriage Guidance ” was established at a meeting at the Caxton Hall. The meeting followed deliberations between a number of London doctors, psychologists, clergymen, and magistrates, who have considered the possibility of giving advice to those about to marry, and of helping to solve the problems of married life.
