A TUTOR’S “ANONYMITY”
ro THE EDITOR Sir, —The letter of “ Suspicion ” is apparently disingenuous. Full details concerning regular times and places of meetings of W.E.A. classes, with names of tutors, were advertised in your issue of April 30. Copies of the syllabus are obtainable gratis from the office of the secretary at the University. The syllabus has also been on display, through the courtesy of the city librarian, in the Free Public Library.—l am, etc., R. W. Souter, Director of Tutorial Classes, June 1. TO THE EniTOI) Sir, —Allow me the privilege and the honour of conveying to your correspondent “ Suspicion ’’ some information asked for in regard to the report of the Workers’ Educational Association. The name of the tutor is Mr J. A. Brailsford, the place and time of meeting is the Railway Social Hall, Cargill road, Sunday morning at 10 a-m.. and the subject "Workers’ Control.” The organisation has no connection with any political party, and is run under the auspices of the Otago University, with the professor of economics, Mr R. W. Souter, as director. Should this information fail to kill the evil suspicion of your correspondent, we extend a kindly welcome to the class next Sunday morning, when the discussion will centre around the topic of “ Economic Planning.”— I am, etc., R. Harrison. Dunedin, June 1.
