EX-HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS

ANNUAL BALL The Coi.cert Chamber of the Town Hall presented an animated scene last evening when the members of the ExHigh School Girls’ Club held their annual ball The school colours—dark blue ana white- -were introduced in the twin crests and badge which made a background for the scarletcoated orchestra upon the stage, and in the overhanging draperies ox bunting. The guests, who numbered 300, were received by the president of the Ex-Girls' Club (Miss Flora Allan) who wore a smart ensemble of black -velvet and carried a bouquet of violets and , jonquils, presented to her by the club. She was assisted by the vicepresident, Mrs Kerr black cloque, pink organdie corsage spray) and the principal of the school.
