SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED LONDON, May 18. Failing to get their money back when the meeting was abandoned after a crash in the sixth event, thousands of spectators rioted at Harringay speedway (London). They broke down barriers and flagpoles, set fire to a tractor, damaged cars and fought officials. The police sent an SOS to Scotland Yard and all the Flying Squad cars were rushed to the stadium.
