ESCAPE FROM CABIN
DETAINED PASSENGER INCIDENT ON AWATEA SYDNEY, May 31. (Received May 31, at 5.5 p.m.) A man describing himself as Frederick Butler, aged 35, a baker, who came from Auckland in the Awatea and who claimed that he had been carried on when saying farewell to a party on boara. was told that he would not be allowed to land in Sydney. He was locked in the hospital cabin, but. escaped by breaking open t?ie door. The man concerned was later located at a city office, and he will appear in court to-morrow.
