AMALGAMATION SOUGHT
FARMERS AND SHEEP OWNERS (Per United Press Association? HASTINGS, May 30. The need for the Farmers’ Union and the Sheep Owners’ Federation to work closer together with a view to strengthening both bodies was emphasised by delegates at. the annual conference of the Hawke’s Bay Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union The following remit was carried by the conference:—" That pressure be brought on the Dominion Executive of the Farmers’ Union to take all possible steps to bring about amalgamation with the Sheep Owners’ Federation.”
