ESCAPED PRISONERS
A RESULTLESS SEARCH SUGGESTION OF ACCOMPLICE (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 30. The police have not yet traced two prisoners, Ronald Dempsey Crook and Harry Ossie Fielding, who escaped from the Waikune prison camp, about four miles from the National Park station, on Sunday afternoon. Warders and police formed search parties and combed the countryside within a radius of 30 miles, but without result. There is a suggestion that the two men had an accomplice waiting for them at an appointed place, and that when they met, a course was set towards Wellington.
