ALLEGED IRREGULARITIES
LOCAL BODY ELECTION PETITION FOR INQUIRY (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 26. A petition claiming that the returning officer allowed declaration votes he should not have allowed and that Mr H D Morgan was wrongly excluded from the list of successful candidates haa been lodged in the Magistrate’s Court asking for a magisterial inquiry into the election of the Johnsonville Town Board Mr Morgan was at the head of the list of unsuccessful candidates, being one vote behind Mr H. E. R Green. Other candidates may also be affected
