(Received May 26. at 9 p.m.) The Paris corresnondent of the Daily Telegraph says that Dr Harry Plotz, head of the laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, told the French Academy of Medicine that he has discovered the germ that causes measles. It is “ filterable virus,” and Dr Plotz said he believed that it was possible to develop a serurh vaccine to prevent the disease, but it might take years of research.
