PARKS v. JENKIN The next programme to be presented by the Otago Boxing Association should be one of the best of the season, and the Town Hall should be filled to capacity on Monday when “ Tiger Parks will meet Stan Jenkin in a 12round contest. When the men met at Oamaru last year Jenkin gained a victory over the negro, ut with Parks reproducing the form and punching ability he did when he defeated Dick Baker, of Invercargill, recently, Jenkin will have a much more difficult task ahead of him. Jenkin has been beaten only once since turning professional, and that was by Billy Martin, who is now a contender for the Australian welter-weight title, and Neville Mudgway drew with Jenkin in Oamaru. The amateur programme has been arranged as follows: —M Parr v. P Dolan, E. Camercn (Menzies Ferry' v Bert Buckley, J. McLennan (Tahakopa) v. T. Lister (Ashburton), E, Phillips v M Hunter (Oamaru), T Denny (Invercargill) v. G. McFadzien, J Enwright (Invercargill) v. J Ramsay Particulars are advertised Mr J. Kilmartin will referee the professional bout and Messrs R. Fulcher and Don Paterson the amateur contests
