ARMAMENT REVEALED POWERFUL ANTI-AIRCRAFT BATTERIES LONDON, May 18. Mr Hector Bywaler, in the Daily Telegraph, reveals a description of five George V class battleships now being built, which is published in the journal of the German Admiralty. The main armament of the battleships is 10 14-inch guns. The weight of the broadside is 15,6001 b, which is 40 per cent, below that of H.M.S. Nelson, but is compensated for by more rapid fire. The weight of the armour protection is 13,000 tons. The ships are mounting the most powerful anti-aircraft batteries afloat.
