WARM WELCOME FOR THEIR MAJESTIES (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, May 18. (Received May 19, at 5.5 p.m.) Opening the extension of the Manchester Town Hall, the King recalled that the foundation stone had been laid in July, 1934, by his father Rain fell during the drive which their Majesties made this aftex'noon through Salford, Eccles, Warrington and St. Helens, but the huge crowds which cheered them did not seem to be affected.
