SHIPPING DISORGANISED WATERFRONT WORK INTERRUPTED <Per United Press Association; AUCKLAND, May 19. Accompanying a sharp fall in the barometric pressure, steady rain fell in Auckland during the day. Shipping was practically at a standstill on the Auckland waterfront, and the departures of the majority of vessels have been delayed. The motor ship Matua, which was to have sailed to-night for the Cook Islands, will now sail this afternoon. A considerable quantity of inward fruit cargo has yet to be discharged. The overseas steamer City of Mobile, which was to have sailed to-day, will also be despatched to-morrow. Coastal shipping has been affected.
