Smith, and Dora Smeaton welcomed those present, including a number of visitors to the city. Miss Thelma Hudson, of Timaru. gave a most interesting account of economic conditions in Germany during her recent sojourn there, and Miss Joyce Brugh spoke of the different places that had impressed her most during her travels abroad. Both speakers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The opportunity was taken to bid farewell to Mrs Richard Hudson, who will leave on a visit to England at the end of the month.
