OIL EXPROPRIATION
REPAYMENT BY MEXICO PRESIDENT’S STATEMENT MEXICO CITY, May 13. (Received May 13, at 11 p.m.) President Cardenas issued a statement proposing repayment for the oil expropriated with 60 per cent, of the annual products of petroleum over a 10-year period. The remaining 40 per cent, would be retained for domestic requirements. The total amount of the debt would be determined by experts.
