BROWN—At Christchurch, on May 8, 1938, Agnes. "A loved and valued friend.” BYRNE.—On May 4, 1938, at the Waipukurau Hospital. Arthur Emmett (late Lieutenant. 2nd Otago Infantry Battalion, N.Z.E.F.), second son of the late F. M. Byrne (Lawrence). GEDDES.—On May 12. 1938, at his residence, 3 Albany street, Samuel Wilson, beloved husband of Marv Grant Geddes, aged 68 years. “ Peace, perfect peace.”— The Funeral will leave the above residence To-day (Saturday), 14th inst., at 11 a.m.. for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hugh Gourley, Ltd., funeral directors. LYMBURN.—On May 13, 1938 (suddenly), at her residence, 5 West avenue, St. Clair, Jessie Paton, beloved wife of the late John Bannerman Lymburn; aged 79 years. Deeply mourned. Private interment,—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. MILLIGAN.—On May 13, 1938, at his residence. Waihola, Arthur Joseph, dearly beloved husband of Margaret Ellen Milligan; aged 37 years. “A patient sufferer gone to rest.” Private interment at Fairfax Cemetery. Milton.
