CHILD’S FATAL FALL (Per United Press Association) WHANGAREI, May 13. Failing to rally after admission to Whangarei Hospital on Wednesday suffering from concussion and a broken arm, Gwyeth Margaret Price, aged 12, of Kerikeri road, died last evening. The child was swinging on a rata vine and fell. A verdict of accidental death was returned by the coroner to-day. MAN ELECTROCUTED (Per United Press Association) ASHBURTON, May 13. John Rodd, single, aged 52, of Winslow, a member of a threshing mill crew, was electrocuted last evening when endeavouring to operate the lowering gear of the elevator, which came into contact with the electric wires at the entrance to a farm at Tinwald. SLIPPED ON FOOTPATH John Will, an elderly man residing at 26 Goodall street, Dunedin, was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital at 1.30 yesterday afternoon with a fractured right thigh. The injury was caused through his slipping on a footpath at Gore.
