GOVERNMENT SUPPORT URGED QUESTION OF IMPERIAL POLICY (Per- United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 25. The following resolution has been passed by the Dominion Council of the New Zealand League of Nations' Union, and a copy sent to the Prime Minister (Mr M J Savage):— That the New Zealand League of Nations’ Union, being convmced that a permanent improvement in international relations can be based only on principles of international c '-operation as defined in the Covenant of the League, and believing that consistent support from the British Commonwc Ith of Nations is essential for building up a system of real collective security, calls upon the Government of N p w Zealand to reaffirm its loyalty to the principles ot the covenant and urge upon its fellow Governments within the British Commonwealth of Nations the necessity of basing Imperial policy upon those principles.
