NEW BRITISH TITLES
It has been announced in the London Gazette that Letters Patent had been granted, conferring baronies announced in the New Year's Honours List upon Field-marshal Sir William Birdwood and Sir Francis John Childs Ganzoni, former M.P. for Ipswich. Sif William Birdwood will be known as Baron Birdwood of Anzac and of Totnes in the County of Devon, while Sir Francis Ganzoni will be known as Baron Belstead of Ipswich in the County of Suffolk. The Gazette also announces the grant of Letters Patent conferring a Viscounty upon Lord Nuffield. This hohour was also announced in the New Year list. Lord Nuffield will be known as Viscount Nuffield of Nuffield in the County of Oxford.
