NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Otago Central 'Electric Power Board proposes to take a Poll of the Ratepayers of the Upper Clutha Valley portion of the Otago Central Electric Power Board District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of the 16th September, 1937, at Page 2172 thereof, upon a Proposal to Raise a Loan of £35,000 under “The Local Bodies Loans Act,” 1028. The proposal of the Board is to raise a special loan of £35,000 for the purposes following: — Main transmission line to, and reticulation of, the Upper Clutha portion of the Otago Central Electric Power District. The proposed security for such loan is an annual rate of 1 and 9/20d in the pound sterling on the Capital Value of the rateable property in the District described in the above-mentioned Gazette, and the said loan, with interest thereon, is proposed to be repaid by instalments over a term of 25 years.
