OBITUARY
CAPTAIN J. S. PARKER LONDON. Feb. 12. (Received Feb. 13, at 6.30 p.m.) The death has occurred of Captain J. S. Parker, chief horticultural officer for the War Graves Commission. MISS A. E. CARGILL The death is announced from Rome of Miss Annie Elizabeth Cargill, the third daughter of the late Mr E. B. Cargill, at the age - of 74 years. Miss Cargill, who was a sister of the late Miss F. M. Cargill, who died at her home, Musselburgh Rise, last year, had lived in Rome for a number of years. Her father built Cargill’s Castle, above St. Clair, and her grandfather was Captain Cargill, the first superintendent of the Province of Otago.
