RETIREMENT OF A MEMBER RETAINING FULL SALARY WASHINGTON, Jan. 5. Judge Sutherland has retired from the Supreme Court Bench He retired under the provisions of last year’s Supreme Court Act Hence he will retain his full salary of 20,000 dollars a year He is 76, His retirement strengthens the position of the so-called Liberal majority.
