HAURAKI’S DEPARTURE The Haurkkl Is expected to clear Port Chalmers this morning and sail for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo and continue loading for Vancouver. FORDSDALE DISCHARGING The Shaw Savill steamer Fordsdale, from London, via Suva and Wellington, arrived here yesterday morning and berthed at Port Chalmere. She Is discharging general cargo, and Is expected to sail on Saturday for Lyttelton. MESSAGE PROM RUAHINB ' A wireless report received from the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahlne, which left Auckland on December 1 for London, via Panama, states that unfavourable " weather conditions are being encountered, but . all on board are well. NARBADA LEAVES CALCUTTA Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that Its chartered steamer Narbada left Calcutta last Friday for Penang, Singapore and Java to complete loading for -Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru, Dunedin and Bluff. She Is due at Auckland on January 2. WAIWERA BRINGING RAILS The Shaw Savill and Albion motor ship Walwera which was to have left Liverpool on Monday, loaded 1500 tons of rails ami flsh- - plates at Barrow-In-Furness for New Zealand. The rails were manufactured at the Barrow Hematite Steel Company’s mills, and It is understood that the majority will bo unloaded »at Wellington. The Walwera was the largest motor ship to visit Barrow for a considerable time.
