The engagement is announced between Joseph, elder son of Mr and Mrs N. Finkelstein, of Herne Bay, Auckland, and Elsa, only daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Jacobs, of Dunedin. Robertson, of Melrose Station, Leonare, Western Australia, and her granddaughter, Patricia Chute Ellis, onlv daughter of W. N. C. Ellis and Mrs Ellis, of “ Chute,” Hamilton, Victoria.
