WORK OF SPECIAL COMMITTEE PROBABLE INTERRUPTION (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. In view of the Prime Minister's Intention to move the adjournment of Parliament at the end of this week, it is unlikely that the special committee on the Local Government Amalgamation Bill will meet again this year. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W. E. Parry) said to-day that there were still some 80 local bodies and others who had intimated a desire to place their views on the measure before the committee.
