OTAGO WQMEN'S CLUB The annual meeting and distribution of trophies won during the year at the Otago Women's Golf Club was held in the clubhouse yesterday, when there was a good attendance of members. Mrs Cook (captain) referred to the loss the club had sustained by the death of two of its prominent members, Mrs Lemon and Mrs Fergus, and asked the members to stand in silence as a mark \of respect. The following officers were elected for the coming year:—President, Mrs Cook; vice-president, Mrs Barron; cap* tain, Mrs Caffin; deputy captain. Mrs Gamble; secretary, treasurer and handicapper. Miss D. McHutcheson: committee—Mrs Potvine, Mrs McDougall. B Grade Challenge Bowl: Miss D. Duthie; runnerup. Mrs E. Walker. Best net scores in two qualifying rounds of championship: A Grade,, Miss Shand; B Grade, Miss Duthie and Mrs & Walker (equal).
