BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICES ISLAND COUNCIL. BOROUGH NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF ■ SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A BY-LAW. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Green Island Borough Council at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose and held on Wednesday the 24th Day of November, 1937, PASSED the following RESOLUTION making a By-law to be known as " The Green Island Borough By-law No. 10, 1937," the object and purport of such By-law being to empower the said Council to prescribe the conditions to be observed in the construction of approved drains, sanitary conveniences, and sanitary appliances. The. resolution referred to is as follows: That the Green Island Borough Council, in pursuance of the powers and provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933," and in pursuance of all and every other power contained in any other Act enabling the said Corporation in that behalf HEREBY RESOLVES to adopt the proposed By-law submitted herewith to be known as the Green Island Borough By-law No. 10, 1937 to empower the said Council to prescribe the conditions to be observed in the construction of approved drains, sanitary conveniences, and sanitary appliances. And it is further resolved that this resolution be submitted to a SPECIAL MEETING of the Green Island Borough Council to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 22nd Day of December, 1937, for Confirmation as a Special Order, to which meeting the said proposed By-law shall also be submitted for adoption. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said resolution will be submitted to a SPECIAL MEETING of the said Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Main South road. Green Island, at 5.15 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, the 22nd Day of December, 1937 for Confirmation as a Special Order, to which meeting the said By-law shall be submitted for adoption. A copy of the said By-law is deposited in the Town Clerk's Office, Main South road.
