MOTORING FATALITIES
A COLLISION iN PERTH POLICE INSPECTOR KILLED PERTH, Dec. 2. (Received Dec. 2, ,at 10 p.m.)) Police Inspector Lewis, an enthusiastic exponent of, the safety first campaign, who frequently deplored the increasing number of motoring fatalities, was himself killed on Wednesday when his car collided with another while Inspector Lewis was on his way home. WOOLGROWER KILLED SON’S CONDITION CRITICAL SYDNEY, Dec. 2. Mr George William Merriman, one of the best known woolgrowers in Australia, was fgtally injured when his car overturned near Yass. His only son, Frank, an authority on stud merino sheep, was critically injured.
