HAIRDRESSERS AND TOBACCONISTS GOVERNMENT URGED TO ACT (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 2. The following resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Zealand Hairdressers and Retail Tobacconists’ Federation and related Wellington associations: —“ That this meeting endorses the proposals for licensing and registration as prepared by the combined committee, and that the committee be authorised to arrange a deputation to wait on the Government at the earliest possible moment to press for some action and ask that the proposed plan be taken off the shelf and considered as soon as possible.”
