THE DUKE OF WINDSOR
TARTAN FOR NEW KILT VARIANT OF ROYAL STUART LONDON, Nov. 28. The Duke of Windsor is adopting the Bonnie Prince Charlie tartan for his new kilt, which is being woven at Brora in Sutherlandshire It is a variant of the Royal Stuart, except that the blue and green lines are broader, reducing the red squares on the background. This is traversed by yellow lines, traditionally indicating Royal Scottish descent.
