The regular summoned meeting of All Nations' Lodge was held, when A.D. Bro. F. C. Smith presided over a fair attendance. D.P. Bro. Shepherd (No. 1 District) paid an official visit, and P.T. Bro. Whson (Ivanhoe Lodge) was also a welcome visitor. Considerable routine business was done, and a member from the Pride of the Oak Juvenile was initiated. Medlin presided over a well-attended meeting of Ivanhoe Lodge on Wednesday. It being the quarterly meeting, a fairly large amount of sick pay was passed for payment. The lodge adopted the recommendation of the Vigilance Committee to assist two brothers through the funds. One member was re-admitted, one proposition received, and one member transferred on clearance. The lodge supported two remits for the Grand Lodge proposed by Bro. F. E. Reeves. Pellett; Grand Lodge representatives. Bros. H. Brockie and C. Wilson; Grand Lodge subs., Bros. F. E. Reeves andl W. Gray. D.P. Bro. Shepherd and P.G.P. Bro. Jacobson acted as scrutineers. Welcome visitors were D.P. Bro. Shepherd (No. 1 District), P.G.P Bro. Jacobson, of All Nations, and P.A. Bro. Le Brun, of Pride of Mornington, At the annual meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter, No. 1, R.A.D., Bro. Rainbow was greeted by a fair attendance of members. Treasurer Bro. Young intimated that there were several Past Arches of Lodges in the Northern District who wished to receive their degrees. The secretary was instructed to get in touch with these lodges to arrange a visit from the Chapter. The secretary urged all members to pay their contributions early and thus assist the incoming officers to plan their activities for the forthcoming year.
