SOCIAL CONDITIONS
A GREEK AUTHOR'S STUDY (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, Nov. 29. For the purpose of collecting data to be published in a book on world social conditions, a Greek author, Dr Demetre Mitropoulos, of Athens, is making a leisurely tour of the world, and arrived in Auckland by the Aorangi from Sydney to study New Zealand and its people for a manth " I have heard so much about New Zealand during my travels that I know I shall be happy here from the first," said the visitor. A son of a former Consul for Greece in Paris, Dr Mitropoulos is a graduate of philosophy of the University of Paris.
