SINGLES TOURNAMENT MRS LISTER WINS FINAL The post-sectional play in the Otago Ladies' Bowling Association's annual Singles tournament was completed at Logan Park yesterday, the winner of the tournament being Mrs D. M. Lister, of St. Kilda (21), who defeated Mrs J. S. Austin, of the St. Clair Club (16), in a well-contested game. A strong north-easterly breeze made it somewhat difficult to pick the correct length, but excellent drawing was exhibited by the majority of the contestants. Mrs Austin was frequently short through misjudging the wind. Mrs Lister drew excellently but was inclined to be heavy. The results were as follows: — FIRST ROUND Mrs Austin and Mrs Williams, byes.
