GOOD TEMPLARY

All Nations Lodge, No. 13, 1.0.G.T., held a meeting last Thursday. Bro. W. lies, G.C.T., acted in the capacity of C.T., and there was a good attendance of members, visitors also being presem from Rescue Lodge and Wellington Sister Campbell reported having visited Rescue Lodge. A letter received from Rescue Lodge inviting members to be present at its church parade was accepted. A resolution was passed that the secretary write to the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W E. Parry) protesting against the raffle of of a Christmas hamper containing whisky, wine and ale. As a temperance organisation the lodge disapproved of the practice. Bro. Campbell. G.C., introduced Bro Trevethick G.S., of Wellington, who received a hearty welcome. Bro. Trevethick responded and conveyed greetings of Pride of Haughton. Valley. Coronation and Pioneer Lodges Next night beins? the final night for juveniles, i 1 was decided to open at 7 o'clock. Bro. Ik? announced the annual social of Rescue Lodge on December 14. At the meeting of Beacon Temple C.T. Sister J Gardiner presided over a small attendance of members The superintendent made final arrangements for the break-up. Bro lies. G.C.T., and Bro. Trevethick. G.S were present and spoke to the juveniles. The Rescue Lodge. No. 105 I.O.GJT held its weekly meeting on Tuesday last. Past Chief Templar Bro. E Brooks presided over a fair attendance of members. Bro. R Mercer reported on the church parade held at the Cargill Road Methodist Church on the previous Sunday. Sister D Miller (assistant superintendent) reported on the Star of the South Juvenile Temple No. 15. The following items were presented: —Recitations and readings Sister D. Miller. R. A. lies The superintendent of juvenile work urged all members to be present at the juvenile break-up. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple No. 15 1.0.G.T.. held its weekly meeting on Tuesday. Chief Templar Sister D. North presiding over a good attendance and Superintendent Bro. E. Brooks being in charge All members were asked to attend the break-up to be held next meeting, all, parents being invited. Sister Hazelwood 'Rescue addressed the lodge.
