DIED WITH A SMILE
ARAB TERRORIST LEADER HANGED ON A SCAFFOLD HAIFA. Nov. 28. Saadi was hanged on a scaffold. He did not flinch, and he smiled on the scaffold. _ Natives fired on an Essex Regiment patol in North Palestine. There were nc casualties. Further shooting occurred in a heavy attack on Sedjera police station, near Tiberias. A previous message stated: Saadi was sentenced to death by hanging. There is no appeal from the court, which comprised three British military officers. Saadi was heavily guarded when he was transferred from prison to the court and troops surrounded the building during trial. ' SONS SWEAR VENGEANCE LONDON, Nov. 29. (Received Nov. 29, at 11 p.m.) The Jerusalem correspondent of the Dailv Herald says: "Standing at the graveside of their father, Saadis three sons swore to avenge his execution. 'Revolvers shall always be in our hands.' they vowed. They than went to loin the remnant of their fathers' band in the mountains." BRITISH CONSTABLE SHOT DEAD JERUSALEM. Nov. 29. (Received Nov. 29, at 11.30 p.m.) A British constable named Pearce was shot dead while a police patrol was attempting to arrest an Arab sang which fired on a lorryload of Jew's near Nazareth.
