ARBITRATION COURT
ASSESSORS FOR SECOND TRIBUNAL 1 EMPLOYERS’ REPRESENTATIVE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. The Minister of Labour (Mr H. T. Armstrong) announced to-day that Mr W. E. Anderson, secretary of the Employers’ Association of Auckland, has been nominated by the employers at their assessor on the second Arbitration Court, and Mr D. I. McDonald (Christchurch) as deputy employers’ assessor. The Minister also announced that the workers’ representatives >would confer this afternoon to nominate their assessors on the court. WORKERS’ REPRESENTATIVE BALLOTING IN PROGRESS (Per United Press Associationi WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. There are 13 nominations for the position of workers’ representative and deputy representative for the second Court of Arbitration. Balloting is now in progress, and the decisions will be considered on Monday evening by the National Executive of the Federation of Labour. There is a general belief that the choice will fall on Mr A. W. Croskery, a prominent trade union secretary in Wellington.
