SPECIAL RECIPES THOMSONS’ ORANGE Directions and Instructions for Use: PURE FRUIT BEVERAGES.—Add to one part of Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial eight parts of Thomsons’ Soda, and thoroughly mix by pouring the whole into another glass. Spoon stirring is useless. DESSERT TABLE JELLIES.—Use only half the stipulated quantity of water and make up with Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial. Can be used in jellies of all flavours or colours. The fine, strong, natural juice flavour will overwhelm any existing chemical ones in so-called jelly crystals. By the addition of Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial the jelly ' crystals will be converted into a food product instead of a doubtful luxury. After making, note the fine flavour and the delicate texture of the finished product. WHOLE FRUIT DESSERT TABLE JELLIES.—Use only half the stipulated amount of water, and make up with Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial. This will considerably improve the flavour and food value. ORDINARY JAMS AND JELLIES.— Add a quart bottle of Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial to a pan of any jam. It should be added just prior to bottling and well stirred in. It improves the flavour, texture, and keeping qualities of the product. CAKE ICINGS.—Mix your icing in the ordinary way, and add Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial. TRIFLES—Leave out the port wine or brandy and substitute Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial. ICE CREAM SUNDAES. —Pour Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial over the top of these. It improves the flavour and general appearance. FRUIT COCKTAILS.—Thomsons’ Pure Orange Fruit Cordial imparts a new flavour to Fruit Cocktails, and' improves the—palatability. HOME-M ADE CAKE S.—Thomsons’ Pare Orange Fruit Cordial adds to the variety and flavour of homemade cakes and cake fillings. COLDS AND ’FLU.—Eight parts of boiling water to one of Thomsons Pure Orange Fruit Cordial and thoroughly mix.
