LILY STEVENS’S RECITAL

ENTERTAINING PROGRAMME ~ ARRANGED The high standard which the public of Dunedin has come to expect from the pupils of the Miss Lily Stevens School of Dancing should, if anything, be exceeded when these clever juveniles are presented at His Majesty’s Theatre on December 4 in the miniature pantomime, “ Old King Cole.” This production will occupy the stage for the first half of the programme, and it will be elaobrately presented. In the second half, story, song, and dance will be centred round the presentation, "La Lecon de Geographic.” One of the most entertaining scenes should be the appearance of over 30 children in an Hawaiian dance scene. No expense is being spared to make the costuming the highlight of the recital. The popular radio singer, Mr James McFarlane, has been specially engaged for one of the song scenas. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
