GENERAL ASSEMBLY
CCNCVJS’CN OF SESSION NEW TITLES AGREED UPON (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 18. After a session which commenced on Wednesday of last week, the annual Presbyterian General Assembly concluded its proceedings to-day. New titles for the moderator and past moderators of the General Assembly were agreed upon. It was resolved that the moderator in office should have “ Right Reverend ’ prefixed to his name instead of merely “ Reverend ” as formerly. Past moderators will bo known as “ Very Reverend.” The newly-appointed moderator, who will remain in office until the General Assembly in November, 1938, is the Rt. Rev. W. H. Howes, of Otautau, Southland.
