ONE HUNDRED MASKED MEN WAITERS BEATEN IN STREET „ NEW YORK, Nov. 16. (Received Nov. 17, at 5.5 p.m.) A Miami (Florida) message states that 100 masked, white-robed men and women broke into a night club .early this morning and routed 4U patrons, overturned and broke chairs and tables, and dragged two waiters into the street, where they were beaten severely. The raiders searched in vain for the absent proprietor. A huge cross was burned in front of the place. Hours earlier the Ku Klux Klan held initiation ceremonies in the public park. GIRLS ROUGHLY HANDLED MIAMI, Nov. 16. (Received Nov. 17, at 5.5 p.m.) An investigation has been spurred by the revelation that the raiders roughly handled three girl entertainers, choking one into unconsciousness. The club owner announced that he was reopening to-night, despite a warning from the raiders that more serious action could be expected.
