DANGEROUS PARKING AT BRIGHTON
TO THE EDITOR
Sir,—l understand that there is a bylaw in existence in the Taieri County under which no cars may be parked on the Main road from the Big Rock to "he intersection over the bridge at the school. If this is correct, why are the offenders not brought before the court as in the city v ~ „, 1C * On Sunday, November 14 theie must have been over 50 cars parked on the road up to the bridge (the most congested part of Brighton), creating a most dangerous trap for adults and children, especially as incoming cars cannot be seen. This road lends --itself to speeding by those who should know better, and unless this is limited and the roadway is cleared of stationary cars a fatal accident must take place. The by-law then, no doubt, will be carried out—l am, etc., Observer.
