SETTLEMENT OF UNEMPLOYED SATISFACTORY PROGRESS A report on the progress of the small farms scheme was given by the Minister of Public Works (Mr R. Semple) in his Statement, which was presented to the House yesterday. The gross total expenditure out ol the vote was £305.621, but this figure included wages, part of which was recovered from subsidies provided by the Employment Promotion and Consolidated Funds.
