CASE AGAINST MONTAGUE NEW YORK, Oct. 26. John Montague's mother and sister testified that on the night of the robbery he was at home and in bed at midnight. John Montague was acquitted. The judge told the jury he was sorry to say that the verdict was not in accordance with what ne thought they should have rendered.
